This is the weather station made in Germany and fashioned after a centuries-old design that includes three precisely-engineered meteorological instruments, including an aneroid barometer, bi-metal mechanical thermometer, and hygrometer. The instruments are protected by a shatter-resistant plexiglas dome which rests on a polished mahogany base that has airflow apertures necessary for proper readings. The barometer's aneroid capsule, solid brass linkages, spring, levers, and chain, and temperature compensator provide accurate pressure readings in hPA (inches in mercury). The thermometer uses a bi-metal coil which contracts and expands to move its indicator arm across a separate temperature dial, and the spiral hygrometer provides relative humidity readings within 5% of accuracy. The hygrometer can be adjusted using a 2" screwdriver, and the barometer may be adjusted for local atmospheric pressure conditions. 7" H x 4" Diam. (1 1/4 lb.)
