Made by Hamilton Beach, pioneers of the first milkshake mixer in 1911, this is the classic spindle mixer favored by soda fountains and contemporary restaurants for its ability to make two professional 12-oz. milkshakes, malts, and smoothies in 30 seconds. The commercial-grade mixer has a specially designed agitator disc that quickly aerates ice cream, fruit, and milk, resulting in frothy, thick confections. The unit starts automatically when the stainless steel cup is placed on the cup holder, or you can select one of three speeds or pulse the mixer at the touch of a button. Engineered with an individually balanced, powerful 1/3 horsepower motor and sealed, permanently lubricated ball bearings, the classic spindle mixer ensures generations of reliable use. Made from heavy-duty die-cast metal with a sturdy base, yet requires only minimal countertop space. To clean the spindle and agitator, simply fill the cup with a mild soap and water, place it on the cup holder, and turn on the mixer at the lowest speed; housing wipes clean.
