Product Story
This is the classic 1950s tin speedway that has three wind-up race cars reminiscent of the racers from the early 20th Century, which race around an oval track autonomously. Made of sturdy tin, the classic metal used for toys from the 50s, and painted in bright, non-toxic colors, the speedway resembles the early board tracks of the 1910s. Two garages each use a mechanical switch that keeps all three cars running on the track in sequence; a car waiting in a garage is launched by the impetus of a car entering a garage. Includes wind-up key. Ages 8 and up. The manufacturer has confirmed that this item meets U.S. Federal toy safety standards for lead. 17 1/4" L x 10 1/2" W x 2" H. (5 lbs.)
