The Cold Therapy Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint

This is the night splint that helps to reduce inflammation associated with plantar fasciitis by providing cold therapy while holding the foot in a neutral position. Unlike typical splints, this one includes a removable ice pack that fits under the foot to provide 15 minutes of cold therapy before falling asleep. Clinical studies over the past 15 years have shown that dorsiflexion provides relief from the symptoms of recalcitrant plantar fasciitis. Securing the foot at a 90° angle for a passive stretch with three adjustable hook-and-loop fasteners and two buckled straps, the low-profile, high-density polyethylene splint is padded with polyurethane foam for comfort and has a non-skid sole for reliable traction if the need to get up arises.
