The Cordless Phone with Caller ID

This 900MHz, dual keypad, cordless phone uses high power Digital Spread Spectrum technology that continually changes the frequency within the bands of operation. It has automatic channel hopping, for added security and interference reduction. Average battery life is up to 6 hours of talk time and ten days of standby. An LCD Caller ID is built right on the handset and the speaker phone base, displaying the name and number of the caller. When call waiting is in use, incoming calls are identified. The readout also indicates date, repeat call, long distance, private (call blocking), forwarded calls, and busy signals. Directory stores up to 50 frequently called names and numbers in the handset and 20 numbers in the base. A jog-dial wheel accesses the stored speed dial directory and the Caller ID memory bank. Whenever an incoming call matches a number on the speed dial, the phone emits a special ring. Two way paging and intercom between handset and base. Built-in NiCad battery pack recharges in the base.
