Product Story
No bigger than a breadbox, this electric crisper is made to keep foods like crackers, cookies, chips, cereals and nuts from getting stale and soggy. Because provisions at sea are especially hard to keep crisp, it is a popular item in the galley, as well as any place where excess humidity ruins dry foods. The crisper has a highly conductive aluminum floor that disperses just enough gentle heat to remove moisture. Interior temperature is maintained at 97º to 99º F, high enough to dehumidify but low enough to avoid baking or hardening. Unit draws on only 20 watts for safe, economical continuous use. Chrome-plated steel top. Plugs into household outlet. 11" H x 11" W x 18 1/4" L. (8 lbs.)
