The Dermatologist's Phototherapy System

This device uses the same phototherapy treatment developed by dermatologists to reduce skin blemishes. The handheld unit administers safe 410 nanometer blue and 660 nanometer red UV-light (found naturally in the sun) to improve skin health without prescription drugs. A study in the British Journal of Dermatology showed blue and red light phototherapy eliminates p-acne bacteria (the most common cause of acne) and reduces skin blemishes by 76%. Testing determined that phototherapy was nearly twice as effective as benzoyl peroxide, the main active ingredient in common skin blemish creams. As easy to use as a cordless shaver, the device simply rests against your skin and automatically delivers the phototherapy for three minutes.
