These are the binoculars with dual filters that eliminate glare and enhance viewing in hazy conditions. The first filter, activated by a toggle switch, polarizes incoming light and blocks out part of the spectrum, enhancing viewing during bright sunlight, eliminating glare from surfaces such as water, snow, ice, or glass. The second filter reduces the effects of fog by enhancing contrast, minimizing haze for clearer images. The binoculars can also be used without either filter. The binoculars can be immersed in water up to 3' deep for up to 30 minutes, making them ideal for boating, coastal hiking, birdwatching, or mountain excursions. The binoculars use a nitrogen-purged, fully multi-coated optics system, including its 40 mm objective lenses and Bak-4 Porro-Abbe prism system, which provide a field of view of 125' at 1,000 yards at 8X magnification.
