The Engraveable Conductor's Pocket Watch

This is the engraveable classic pocket watch that recalls those used by 19th-century steam train conductors. This model can be engraved with up to three 1/4"-high letters on the outside of the IPS-plated alloy hunter’s case—an offering available exclusively from Hammacher Schlemmer. Hinged at the 6 o’clock position, the case opens at the push of the top-crown button to reveal an easy-to-read 11/2"-diam. face with hour, minute, and second hands. Without the manual winding of its predecessors, this model is updated with battery-powered Miyota movement for accurate timekeeping. The 12-hour dial depicts 24-hour time in smaller numbers in the dial’s outer perimeter and a window at the 3 o’clock position displays the date. Its 12" stainless steel chain’s ends terminate in a spring-loaded lanyard clip that attaches to the watch’s crown and a fixed clip that secures to a belt. Includes a protective leather pocket.
