The European Goatskin Sweater Jacket

This is the modern interpretation of the classic baseball warm-up jacket that combines supple European goat skin leather with thickly knit wool. Only available from Hammacher Schlemmer, the jacket uses goat skin leather tanned to a supple hand that reveals the distinct uniqueness of each hide. Dyed grey and covering the chest, abdomen, and upper back, the leather blends seamlessly with the jacket’s 50% merino wool/50% acrylic blend which cover the sleeves and lower back. A 4"-high knitted collar fastens around the neck with two leather loops and buttons to keep out autumn breezes.The exterior has two 7" W x 6" H buttoned flap pockets. Its generously broad 7" x 7" left interior pocket does not invert as do lesser pockets when withdrawing one’s hand. Black 100% cotton lines the front and upper back, save for the 2-3" leather strip just inside the zipper that adds a finished, trimmed look. With durable leather hanging loop.
