Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the hat that uses evaporation to keep your head up to 30º F cooler than outside air temperature. The hat works by first running it under cool water and shaking off the excess. Its 100% polyester microfiber suede conducts body heat outward, while retaining the cool water and releasing it slowly through evaporation, cooling your head for up to between four and seven hours, depending upon conditions. The hat’s patented fabric inner liner retains the cool water where it vaporizes over five hours, the evaporation process naturally drawing heat away from your head, keeping you cool. With a suede cinch and braided cord around the brim, and chin strap. Its wide 3" brim protects your face and neck from the sun’s harmful UV rays. Sizes M (hat size 7-71/8; head circumference 221/2"), L (71/4-73/8; 231/4"), XL (71/2-75/8; 24"), or XXL (73/4-77/8; 247/8"). Imported. Khaki. (2 oz.)

To get the proper fit in a hat, we recommend that you measure your head to determine your proper hat size.
- Use a good quality tape measure, such as those used for sewing, to achieve the most accurate measurement.
- Wrap the measuring tape around your head. The tape should be placed where you want the hat to rest, usually 1/8-inch to 1/2-inch above the top of your ears. For the best-looking and most comfortable fit, the bottom of the tape should touch your eyebrows while positioned straight around your head. Don't pull the tape too snugly or your hat will fit that tightly.
- Once you've positioned the tape exactly where you want it, measure to the nearest one-eighth inch, or three millimeters.
- Measure your head a second and third time to ensure accuracy.
