The Family Cycle

This is the three-wheeled recumbent cycle used by families to traverse the grounds at Caribbean and Mediterranean resorts. Both front seats have a set of pedals that allow two riders to take turns propelling the cycle or pedal in tandem. The front seats have 2" of temper foam, adjust independently to accommodate people of different heights, and are set in a recumbent position for enjoying long, scenic rides. A rear-facing jump seat with seat belts accommodates up to two children ages 2 to 6 and a removable vinyl canopy provides shade for all riders. The recumbent design ensures a low center of gravity for reliable and consistent stability through turns, while the omni-directional tiller bar allows either the right or left pedaler to deftly guide the front wheel. Three inflatable tires have high-traction treads supported by solid reinforced wheels and independent coaster brakes provide confident stops. The frame is made from 16-gauge powder-coated steel for maximum resistance to the elements. Maximum load is 500 lbs.
