The Final Frontier Phaser Remote

This is the remote control that faithfully emulates the classic Starfleet crewmember sidearm from the original Star Trek television series. Reproduced from scans of the last known prop from the original series, the phaser uses built-in microcontrollers that translate nine hand movements and trigger functions into commands for changing channels, adjusting volume, and managing settings for most electronics devices. Four memory banks store up to nine gestures each for a total of 36 remote control commands, allowing you to flick up and down to change a TV channel, twist left/right to adjust volume, or push/pull to advance to the next track on a media player. A double-tap of the trigger stuns any TV into silence accompanied by one of nine authentic phaser sound effects and a flashing infrared emitter. The Type I phaser undocks from the Type II and can be used on its own. Its lithium battery recharges via the included MicroUSB cable. 9" L x 2 1/2" W x 7 1/2" H. (3 3/4 lbs.)
