The Folding Nordic Sled

Evoking the traditional Davos sledges of Europe, this is the wooden sled designed in Norway that uses a patented folding mechanism for easy transport and storage. The supporting ABS frame locks the sled in a riding position; a simple press of its levers collapses it lengthwise to just 4 1/2" wide. The sled's up-turned runners are made from laminated maple with stainless steel trim on the bottom of each runner that provides smooth gliding and precise handling over packed snow or ice. The inward camber of each runner provides consistent tracking. The seat slats are made from beech, sanded smooth. A tow rope is attached to the front of the sled for easy uphill climbs. The sled seats one adult or two children, supporting up to 165 lbs. 43 1/4" L x 11 1/4" W x 11" H. (13 1/2 lbs.)
