The Follow Me Puppy

This is the toy puppy with a friendly smile and floppy ears that faithfully follows its child owner while singing and talking, attracted by an infrared "bone." The puppy's bone is an infrared transmitter housed in a non-toxic 100% polyester covering that slips over a child's wrist and secures with hook-and-loop fasteners. When the puppy cannot "see" the bone, it calls out the child's name (previously recorded using the puppy's built-in microphone), begging "come play with me!" The puppy rolls over smooth surfaces using two wheels and a caster; infrared sensors detect the bone's transmitter up to 12' away. The puppy can also encourage a child to follow it while singing--the puppy will roll along the floor, avoiding obstacles. Requires four AA and two AAA batteries.
