Product Story
This is the glass wine decanter believed to have been favored by mounted knights as they took refreshment without spilling a drop while riding to and from 12th-century Crusades. The decanter’s twisted neck increases a wine’s overall surface area as it is slowly and gently dispensed, allowing it to breathe before reaching your glass. Reminiscent of kuttrolfen, Medieval and Renaissance vessels with elongated necks that generated a gurgling sound—sometimes known as “kluk kluk” bottles—the decanter is handmade in the Czech Republic by master glass blowers with four generations of experience. 7 3/4" H x 4" Diam. (10 1/2 oz.)
