The Gemologist's Lamp

This is the tabletop lamp used by professional jewelers to provide full-spectrum natural daylight. While jewelers rely on such true light to grade the color of diamonds, the clear, untinted illumination is equally helpful for philatelists, numismatists, readers, or those with any task that requires visual acuity. The lamp's color temperature of 6,000º Kelvin is double that of regular incandescent bulbs, and equivalent to that of noonday sun, for the truest white light and the most accurate color. The lamp's 26"-long, 13-watt fluorescent tube casts light over an ample work area while its slim design takes up little space on a desk. The lamp head can be pivoted 90º and rotated 270º to direct light precisely where it's needed. ABS and metal construction. Plugs into AC with 6-ft. cord.
