This is the blanket that offers exceptional warmth and softness because it is made using genuine Cape mohair, considered the finest quality in the world. Unlike mohair from other regions, the Angora goats that flourish in the arid Karoo and Eastern Cape of South Africa have been selectively bred for 160 years to eliminate the rough hair from their coats. The resulting kemp-free yarn is woven into a tightly knit blanket that keeps you warm without bulk and doesn't feel scratchy on your skin. The mohair is blended with 20% Merino wool to enhance the blanket's durability and brushed to raise the fabric's pile. Dry clean only. Tan, Blue, and Sage. King. 108" L x 95" W. (2 3/4 lbs.)
