This is the worsted wool sweater hand-crafted on the British Channel Island of Guernsey. Originally designed as a fishermen’s working garment, this knitted sweater pays tribute to the seafarer’s lifestyle with ribbing above the sleeves that represent a ship’s ladder, raised seams at the shoulders to symbolize nautical ropes, and a garter stitch panel to signify crashing waves. Its close-knit stitches enable the tightly twisted wool to keep the wearer warm from blustery sea gusts and rain. 100% British wool. Imported. Dry clean or handwash. Navy, Oatmeal, or Derby Tweed. Sizes M, L, XL, 2XL, and 3XL.
