Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the cape woven on 200-year-old looms on the grounds of Killarney’s Muckross House on the rugged southwestern coast of Ireland. Completed in 1843, the 65-room mansion and its estate became Ireland’s first national park in 1932. Made from 100% lambswool, each cape is crafted one at a time using traditional Irish spinning and weaving methods, creating a garment of incomparable softness that is naturally water-resistant. The relaxed fit permits generous layering as temperatures drop. Satin lining for extra wind protection; five-button front. Dry clean. One size fits most. Plaid.
