Product Story
This is the sweater expertly tailored by Dale of Norway from the wool of the Dalesau, a breed of sheep which inhabits the upland valleys of country's southwestern Jotunheimen. This half-zip sweater is naturally resistant to moisture because of the natural oils that surround each wool fiber, making it ideal for outdoor winter activities. The wool's long fibers--scrutinized by hand to remove short fibers that cause pilling--are spun into the durable 2-ply yarn used to make the sweater, providing superior warmth and moisture release. The Fana-derived design comes from the Norwegian town of the same name, a unique, centuries-old pattern formerly used to identify from what part of Norway an individual originated. Unisex. Sizes L and XL.
