Product Story

This is the watch that indicates the time by illuminating different sides and vertices of hexagons. Unlike common digital watches that employ quadrilateral arrays, this watch’s LCD is a beehive of seven hexagons set in three rows to show the hour, minute, and second. Though the stylized hexagonal numerals are easy for the wearer to recognize, they appear as an unfathomable polygonal pattern to the casual onlooker. The watch’s constantly shifting tessellation mesmerizes both Euclidian and non-Euclidian geometrists (as well as laypeople), and a backlight renders the shapes in a blue glow for clear viewing in the dark. Two buttons toggle between an alarm setting and the date. The durable watch is splash-resistant, with a stainless steel case and strap. Fits wrists up to 8 1/4" in circumference. Black. 1 1/2" Diam. x 1/2" D. (4 3/4 oz.)
