With an integrated gyroscope that keeps him upright, the responsive ’bot has infrared sensors that detect his master’s hand motions. Place your palm in front of the glowing light in his belly, then move your hand to direct him; his autonomous mode enables him to navigate obstacles. You can also program him to memorize up to 50 movements that he’ll repeat when you clap. Or, using a free app on a smartphone or tablet, you can guide him with on-screen buttons or map his route. He has seven different modes, and an attachable tray holds items as heavy as a pop can. The ’bot quips “OK” when he receives a command, grumbles when he falls, or snores when he sleeps.
