The Glistening Rattan Bobbing Deer

These are the life-sized, feeding deer made from rattan that glisten amid a snowy landscape from their built-in lights. Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, both deers’ bodies are covered by clear mini-lights (buck 100; doe 75) that give off a warm, bright glow at night, complementing other holiday decorations. Giving each the realistic bearing of a deer foraging for browse and mast under a blanket of snow, each deer’s neck is attached to its body with a spring mechanism that enables the head to subtly bob up and down in the wind. Expertly crafted rattan is woven around a sturdy, weather-resistant galvanized steel frame to form their legs, tails, ears, and (the buck’s) antlers. Both deer are decorated with a red wreath about their lowered necks, informing visitors that these deer are regular holiday guests. The brown of the weatherproof rattan provides contrast with freshly fallen snow, but each can also be used indoors. Each plugs into AC with 3' cords.
