This selection of imported Spanish delicacies includes smoked chorizo sausage, spicy salchichón sausage, creamy cańarejal cheese, and the world-famous jamón Ibérico, a rare ham prized for its nutty flavor and its texture that melts in the mouth. The black Ibérico pig grazes only in southwestern Europe, where it feasts on the region’s acorns, lending the meat its signature nuttiness. The marbled jamón is cured in sea salt and dry-aged for three years amid the hilltop breezes on the producer’s own farm. The chorizo Ibérico is boldly seasoned with pimiento and garlic, while the salchichón—similar to salami—is the perfect combination of spice and richness. Accompanying the meat trio is the cańarejal, a gooey, spreadable cheese made from raw sheep’s milk and aged for two months.
