This is the rocking zebra hand carved in Kent, England by the renowned Stevenson Brothers, creators and refurbishers of the world’s finest rocking horses. Inspired by the massive herds of the African equine that roam the Serengeti, this handcrafted zebra has a real horse hair mane and tail. Hand-crafted of tulip wood (poplar) with a stand made from windswept, aged oak harvested from the lush grounds of Windsor Great Park. Genuine leather tack in classic Tan and Havana and brass stirrups provide classic charm while the zebra’s realistic muscle lines and energetic facial expression provide convincing detail. The substantial horse, with a total weight over 130 lbs., has a sturdy steel rocking mechanism and solid stand which will not tip over even during the most enthusiastic rides.
