The Hand Crank Emergency Beacon

This is the emergency beacon that is powered by a hand crank, providing instant roadside light without requiring batteries or limited-life flares. Turning the beacon's easy-to-wind dynamo for only two minutes powers an internal three-phase alternator, generating up to 15 minutes of light. The light head tilts 90º and its three LEDs produce a powerful constant light beam out one side and a flashing warning light out the other side to warn oncoming vehicles of your presence. The device has a weatherproof exterior and its integrated fold-out tripod provides roadside stability. About the size of a flashlight, the device also provides instant handheld illumination.
