The Her Majesty The Queen's Wool Blanket

This is the blanket supplied to Her Majesty the Queen's household by Early's of Witney, a Royal Warrant holder for almost 300 years. Established in 1669 in the city of Witney, Oxfordshire, Early's received its first Royal Warrant during the reign of Queen Anne in 1711. Since then, the company has been awarded the Royal Warrant by 13 successive British Monarchs, including the present Queen, Elizabeth II. This blanket is still woven in England today, using 73 ounces of 100% New Zealand Merino wool, regarded as the finest and softest fleece available. The fine wool fibers are densely woven to create a blanket with superior insulating and moisture-wicking properties that keeps you comfortably warm through the changing seasons.
