The Holiday Tradition Train

This working locomotive provides a festive holiday display of motion, sound, light, and color. Made by Bachmann, known for its high-quality model trains for over 40 years, this G-scale train's 4-6-0 steam locomotive has a working headlight, generates smoke (includes smoke fluid), and makes a "chuffing" sound that increases or decreases proportionally to its speed. The entire train is vibrantly painted in Brunswick Green and Tuscan Red, its cars festooned with painted garlands and wreaths. Its tender is heaped with "wood" for fueling the locomotive's boiler. Trailing are a combine car with a working freight door and a coach car, both with illuminated interiors and snow-swept window sills that imply snug passengers en-route to a holiday destination. The 20-piece track creates an 8'2" x 4'3" oval that surrounds even the fullest of Christmas trees, and it includes a speed controller and a power transformer that plugs into AC.
