Winner of a Dr. Toy award, this is the construction kit that uses multi-colored, translucent pegs that light up when connected to create illuminated three-dimensional objects. The easy-to-read instructions guide young builders through the construction of 21 different three-dimensional models ranging from a symmetrical cube, triangle, or cross to a butterfly, jet fighter, and pole vaulter. The kit's base serves as a conductive platform, passing along safe, low-voltage current that lights an LED (rated for 100,000 hours) built into each piece; control on base allows builders to make LEDs glow solid or flash.
