The remote detaches from the face of the system and it displays your iPod music library on its backlit, high resolution LCD, while the eight-button control panel and scroll dial allow you to easily browse your music by song, artist, or genre. Five integrated coaxial speakers and the down-firing, 4" subwoofer provide crisp, clear sound with optimal tonal balance. Not only intended for use with an iPod, the sound system has a radio that can access AM and FM stations without switching bands, while the alarm clock allows you to wake to your iPod or the radio. The remote has a digital clock, it holds 24 radio preset stations, and it controls the system from up to 30' away, operating on the 2.4 GHz radio frequency that penetrates walls and doors.
