Available exclusively from Hammacher Schlemmer, the pants are made from cotton grown in the region’s optimally rich soil and climate—renowned for drawing dyers to its natural hot springs and celebrated for providing clothing for Roman Emperors and Sultans alike—yielding strong fibers with extra-long staple lengths that cause fabrics to become softer, fluffier, and more comfortable with successive washings. With a superior absorbency imparted to it by a spinning process unique to hydrocotton, the fabric provides a gently napped terry cloth on the interior and a velvety smooth exterior.
