Preferred for its use in elegant furniture, guitar bodies, and chesspieces, rosewood’s dark purple-red heartwood possesses subtle color differences, so each watch made results in a unique timepiece with varying, nuanced grain patterns—no two are alike. Hand-cut to precise, uniform dimensions by artisans, each of the 50 pieces that form the band’s links, bezel, crown, case, and case back originate from select specimens harvested from sustainable plantation-based stands grown in India. Sanded smooth with a high-gloss finish, the watch is powered by an accurate Miyota quartz movement, its efficient analog dial provides reliable timekeeping.
