This is the wristwatch created for and used by the Hawaiian Lifeguard Association. The program after which all other lifeguard training programs are modeled, the HLA requested a timepiece that met its exacting standards for water resistance, accuracy, visibility, and durability. Its 1 3/4"-diam. case is made from 316L stainless steel with a screw-down locking crown and case back that combine to ensure water resistance down to 656'. Its 120-click ratcheting unidirectional bezel ensures accurate elapsed time reading and its Miyota 2415 quartz movement provides precise, reliable timekeeping. Swiss Superluminova hands/dial indices illuminate in dark conditions for unambiguous view of its analog hands and date window. Face protected by K1 hardened mineral crystal.
