A convenient alternative to clip-ons and prescription sunglasses, these polarized shades slip comfortably over most eyewear frames and look like regular sunglasses. The lightweight, sturdy, hypoallergenic crystal-nylon frame has side lenses for unobstructed peripheral vision. Unlike typical sunglasses that only block 70% of UV rays, these are 100% UV protective (opthalmologists recommend at least 95% UV protection), and the 1.4 mm-thick triacetate-polarized lenses are oversized to protect the entire eye area. The lenses are coated with a flash-reflective and smudge-resistant material that protects against intense light conditions and fingerprints. Scratch-resistant coating.
