This is the supple yet sturdy wallet finely crafted from Java lizard hide, renowned for its enduring strength and resistance to cracking or fraying. Unlike lesser wallets made from numerous mismatched pieces, this wallet uses highly sought large, prime sections of the hide that impart a uniquely symmetrical scale pattern. The leather is chrome alum tanned, a time-consuming process that can take up to four days, resulting in extraordinary suppleness and softness. The wallet's contour-fit construction, indicative of the finest quality, allows it to fold neatly, even when overfilled. The pockets are skived and turned to yield a slim profile, and top corners are cross-stitched to prevent separating.
