This is the peak flow meter small enough to carry in a pocket or purse to assess lung performance and help monitor asthma symptoms anywhere. Adults and children blow into the portable meter to measure their peak expiratory flow rate between 60 and 810 L/minute. Thanks to an aerodynamic design and ultra-lightweight piston, the meter’s results are accurate to ±4%, an improvement on the ±10% achieved by other devices. The meter also lets users set their target PEF range with adjustable dials—colored with the same red, yellow, and green used in doctors’ asthma action plans—to help interpret results. An accompanying smartphone app tracks readings over time to help detect lung changes before symptoms occur. 6" H x 2" W x 3/4" D. (3/10 oz.)
