The Neuropathy Loafers

Available exclusively from Hammacher Schlemmer, these are the adjustable-width loafers designed to provide relief to those with diabetic neuropathy. The loafers have wide, deep toe boxes—a full 3/8" more depth—that do not constrict feet or cause chafing and blisters like traditional penny loafers. The removable cushioned EVA orthotics, which can be replaced with a user’s custom orthotics, work in concert with the lightweight molded EVA midsoles to support the arch and distribute weight to reduce pressure points. The loafers have a padded heel and tongue, and they fit securely but not too tightly, thanks to adjustable hook-and-loop straps. The supple leather uppers match the look of traditional loafers while their rubber sole cushions impact while ensuring a firm grip. Black or Brown. Men’s. Whole and half sizes 8 1/2-12 or 13.
