This is the only air bed that allows you to adjust the lumbar, head, and foot regions to different levels of firmness at the touch of a button. Six air chambers (three on either side) expand and contract using the dual remote controls, enabling you to adjust each chamber separately for a firm or plush sleeping surface without affecting your partner's side of the bed. Support levels are clearly shown on each remote's LED display, and you can save your preferred settings to the remote with the touch of a button. Unlike coil and spring mattresses that sag after years of use, the air chambers will provide the same level of support for the life of the bed. The mattress has a quilted pillow top that provides additional comfort by relieving pressure points on your hips, shoulders, and back. Underneath the pillow top a layer of 3"-thick memory foam contours to your body's shape and distributes your weight evenly across the surface. The mattress rests in an 8 1/2"-deep foam frame that prevents the mattress edges from sagging when you get in and out of the bed.
