This is the 5'-tall nutcracker that taps his drum to The Nutcracker March from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite when it detects motion from holiday visitors. Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, it is Ideal for doorways, landings, or porches. The nutcracker is dressed in a classic red and green uniform and illuminated by 22 red, green, and blue LEDs built into the top and bottom rims of his snare drum, hat, and soldier’s coat. The LEDs activate and flash slowly when a motion detector hidden in the front of his drum senses motion from passers-by up to 10' away; the classic march from the ballet plays from a built-in speaker while the nutcracker taps smartly in-time with the beat.
