Product Story
This is the only silk blanket that retains its luster and soft hand after repeated machine washings, unlike normal silk garments that will pucker, shrink, and deteriorate if washed. The silk fibers in this blanket are derived from over 1,200 silk cocoons, woven into fibers up to a mile long. The fibers are then woven through a polyester matrix that provides strength. Finally, the fibers are cut-finished so the edges of the blanket will not pill or bunch during washing, retaining their natural sheen and breathability. Charmeuse borders and mitered corners finish the blanket. Machine washable. 81% silk/19% polyester. Queen. Imported. Ivory or Camel. 90" L x 90" W. (5 lbs.)
