This is the umbrella canopy that provides safe and odorless protection from mosquitos and other insects. Permethrin—an EPA-registered synthetic insecticide recommended by the World Health Organization—is bonded to the canopy fibers and simulates the natural repellent compounds of chrysanthemums. The sheer-like canopy has 100% polyester netting that allows sunlight and breezes to pass through while providing continuous protection without DEET or fragrances. Its bottom perimeter stays flush with the ground via an integrated PVC ring that can be filled with water or sand. The canopy easily slides on or off an umbrella’s outer edges when lowered or closed.
