The Patton Shearling Jacket

This is the shearling jacket reminiscent of the B-3 flight jacket worn by the iconic George S. Patton Jr. Supplied to USAAF bomber pilots during WWII for protection during high-altitude flights, the jacket became part of the former Lieutenant General's mystique during his Third Army's campaign through Europe, along with the "twin" Colt .45 revolvers worn at his side. This jacket pays homage to that image with a collar, cuffs, and waistline derived from tanned and dyed Colorado sheepskin that produces luxuriously warm fleece. Treated for water-resistance, this hip-length jacket has period details such as the twin antique brass-plated cinch-straps located at the waist. Enhanced for modern use, it has two exterior front, shearling-lined slash pockets that keep hands warm and two buckled straps on each cuff. The jacket is closed with a reliable brass zipper.
