The Perfect Tea Steeper

Combining a kettle, infuser, and teapot, this is the electric tea maker that lets users set the precise steep time to brew the perfect cup or pot. Simply fill the reservoir with cold water and set the preferred steeping time, from two to 16 minutes. The device quickly heats the water to the optimal brewing temperature of 194° F, then releases it into the steeping chamber which can be filled with bagged or loose-leaf tea. When the selected steeping time has elapsed - a short two minutes for green Sencha, or a seven-minute swirl for Chinese Oolong - the brewed tea is dispensed into the glass carafe. A warming plate keeps tea hot for an hour before automatically turning off. The 32-oz. glass carafe, steeping chamber, and tea filter wash easily by hand. Plugs into AC. 16" H x 10 1/4" W x 9 3/4" D.
