The Pest Free Elevated Garden

This elevated garden shields plants from crawling and flying pests, promoting robust growth and higher yields without the use of chemical pesticides. Insect netting drapes down the sides of the garden's PVC frame (held in place by hook-and-loop strips) to create a barrier against destructive bugs and nuisances such as deer, cats, and dogs. The protective netting provides shade, allows water to penetrate, and lets air circulate, but can be pulled up to permit easy access to plants. At 20" tall, the garden's weatherproof and UV-resistant PVC base raises plants beyond the reach of slugs, rabbits, and other rodents and inhibits the growth of weeds. Raising the bed off the ground not only boosts soil temperature and increases plants' exposure to sunlight--conditions under which plants thrive--it also allows you to tend your garden while seated, preventing back strain. The garden serves as a greenhouse when its 7-mil clear poly sheeting is unfurled to protect tender seedlings or extend your growing season. It sets up easily on any flat surface and its bottomless base holds 28' cu. of soil or compost. Additional units can be attached to expand your garden.
