Made in Germany by Pfeilring, crafters of fine grooming instruments since 1896, this is the gentleman’s beard grooming kit. The kit has scissors made from stainless steel with micro serrations that are hand-sharpened by master cutlers, resulting in sharp edges that clutch hair and prevent it from slipping for even trimming without pulling. The brush is made from solid pear wood that resists warping and splintering, even when repeatedly exposed to water, and the soft, pure wild boar bristles are gentler than plastic and more effective at removing dead skin cells and distributing moisture. The comb has tapered teeth with rounded tips that separate tangles. All of the components fit in the top-grain cowhide case that stores unobtrusively in a vanity or carry-on.
