Eliminating the need for extra hip- or backpacks, the vest has two hand-warmer pockets, four 3" x 3" pockets secured with hook-and-loop fasteners that hold small items such as coins, two 6" x 6" pockets that can hold a GPS receiver or camera, and a horizontal cell phone pocket. Two internal pockets secure a passport, money clip, or keys. The zippered 14" x 8" lumbar pocket can store an emergency rain jacket. Two straps secure a hat or small umbrella.
