The Pilot's Noise Cancelling Headphones

These are the noise cancelling headphones designed by a commercial pilot that eliminate up to 20 decibels of distracting sound of an airplane’s hum. Microphones inside the earcup sense disruptive low-frequency noise, prompting internal circuitry to generate a countering frequency that cancels those unwanted sounds. An LED glows when the noise reduction system is in use and a power switch on the exterior of the earcups deactivates the noise cancellation. The leatherette ear cushions form an acoustic seal that reduces higher-frequency sounds, so wearers can enjoy the rich, tonally balanced audio. The earcups pivot 90° so the headphones can slip into the included protective carrying case for easy storage and portability. Compatible with standard 3.5mm headphone jacks.
