Made of Portuguese cork and pitched at a 23.5º angle to replicate the earth’s position in relation to the sun, the 9 3/4"-diameter globe rotates by hand to display each country in dark cork with contrasting lighter-colored cork borders for easy identification, as well as etched lines of longitude and latitude.
