Unlike traditional wing tip shoes, these have an orthotic insert that allows plantar fasciitis sufferers to wear them in comfort. Recipient of the prestigious American Podiatry Association Seal of Acceptance, the shoes feature podiatrist-designed orthotic footbeds and deep heel cups that stabilize and realign feet to a neutral position for those who over-pronate, a common cause of plantar fasciitis. The lightweight footbeds are made from flexible, dual-density EVA that absorbs shock, reducing stress on feet, ankles and knees. As classically dressy as they are comfortable, the lace-up wingtip uppers are made from full-grain Nappa leather detailed with traditional pinking and brogueing and a medallion tip. The interiors of the shoes are lined with smooth, soft leather—as are the footbeds—and the outsoles are leather with molded rubber inserts that provide superior traction.
